“Fantasy is hardly an escape from reality. It's a way of understanding it.” ― Lloyd Alexander
I dangle my fingers in the ink, hoping to attract ideas hungry to be told. I saw out halfway recognizable tunes on an old violin and lean close to my piano keys to smell the aged ivory. I close my eyes as thrills shiver over me at the beckoning of a new character, whispering "Come. Come into my world."
I procrastinate. I wonder at how fast my days slip by, at the time it takes to craft one sentence, to line up one photograph. But under all is another kind of wonder, the kind that marvels at how flawed are our words, yet how perfect is our art.
